About Us
The Association of Eurasian Patrons and Artists is a non-profit cultural organization founded in Italy on November 3, 2023, from an idea by Gabriele Vaccaro. The Association was officially established with the signing of the Articles of Association by the founding members: Rita Chiurco, Luigi Vaccaro, Paolo Mazzoli, Michael Barillaro, Franco Moretti, Gabriele Vaccaro and Andrea Vernaglia.
From the very beginning, the Association has pursued a clear and ambitious goal: to create a platform where artists, patrons, curators and institutions from Europe and Asia can meet, collaborate and develop shared projects. Our mission is to promote artistic and cultural exchange, foster dialogue and build new opportunities in the fields of visual arts, heritage, cultural diplomacy and contemporary creativity.
The current President, Mrs. Rita Chiurco, is an acclaimed Italian artist and one of the most talented contemporary painters of Byzantine icons and frescoes, internationally recognized for her mastery and dedication to the preservation of cultural traditions. Her artistic career, rooted in spiritual and cultural heritage, reflects the values of the Association: respect for the past and openness to innovation.
The Association believes that art is a universal language, capable of overcoming geographical, political and linguistic barriers. Through exhibitions, residencies, conferences, educational workshops, scholarships and institutional partnerships, we work to create a vibrant network that connects European and Asian cultural ecosystems.
Among our initiatives, we are committed to supporting young talents by facilitating the obtaining of scholarships for art schools. This effort reflects our dedication to education, professional training and accessibility, ensuring that gifted students can pursue their studies and contribute to the cultural future of Eurasia.
In addition to supporting established artists, the Association is particularly focused on encouraging the mobility and visibility of emerging talents. By collaborating with museums, galleries, universities and cultural organizations, we strive to build sustainable bridges between traditions and contemporary practices.
Ultimately, the Association of Eurasian Patrons and Artists embodies the conviction that culture is not only a source of beauty, but also a powerful instrument for social connection, education and diplomacy. Every initiative we promote seeks to affirm the role of art as a tool for dialogue, mutual enrichment and shared growth between Europe and Asia.
Our Founder
The Association of Eurasian Patrons and Artists was founded by Gabriele Vaccaro, born on 23 August 1984 in Rome, an Italian lawyer and active Rotarian. Married to Viktoria, Gabriele combines family values with a deep commitment to culture and international dialogue.
For more than 15 years, he has supported foreign clients and companies, primarily from the Eurasian continent. This professional experience, together with his passion for travel, has allowed him to cultivate a unique perspective on how art and culture can bring people closer together.
His professional background and international vision led him to believe that art and culture are not only expressions of beauty, but also instruments of peace and human connection.
Gabriele’s passion for the arts, combined with his belief in the social and cultural role of creativity, inspired the creation of the Association. He envisioned a platform where European and Asian artists could meet, collaborate and share their traditions, creating bridges across borders.
For him, art is a universal language capable of building trust, dialogue and friendship, even where politics often creates barriers.
“Art is the bridge that unites what politics divides.” – Gabriele Vaccaro
Through this vision, the Association of Eurasian Patrons and Artists works to promote cultural exchange, artistic residencies, exhibitions and partnerships that strengthen peace and dialogue between Europe and Asia.
